Job Opening: Video Director (m/f/d)

Location: Work from home | Start Date: As soon as possible | Position Type: Team Leader

We at Sub Sinus Collective are looking for a visionary and hands-on Video Director to bring our music, events, and creative narratives to life on screen. Whether it’s gritty performance visuals, story-driven music videos, or dynamic recaps — we need a filmmaker who can capture the soul of the culture with style and substance.

Your Responsibilities

  • Direct, shoot, and oversee the production of music videos, event recaps, promos, and documentaries

  • Develop visual concepts in collaboration with artists, producers, and the creative team

  • Scout locations, assemble production teams, and plan shoot logistics when necessary

  • Lead post-production process including editing, color grading, and delivery

  • Maintain a cohesive visual tone that aligns with Sub Sinus’ underground identity

  • Manage timelines, budgets, and client communication on each project

Your Profile

  • Proven experience in directing video projects, ideally in the music or cultural space

  • A strong reel/portfolio showcasing your storytelling, visual style, and versatility

  • Technical knowledge of cameras, lighting, audio, and editing workflows

  • Proficiency with editing software (Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, After Effects, etc.)

  • Collaborative attitude and ability to translate artistic vision into production reality

  • Strong aesthetic sensibility, attention to detail, and on-set leadership skills

  • Comfortable working independently and managing small production teams
