Our Story

Born between the Austrian Alps and the Karawanks, Sub Sinus began as a small rebellion.

We were outsiders —
a wild mix of passionate musicians and creatives experimenting with sound in a self-built studio in Villach, Austria.

While the music industry got cheaper and more repetitive,
we chose a different path.
As generic beats flooded the scene and the records stopped spinning,
we hit play — and turned the volume up.

We poured our energy into building something real:
a creative space with no limits, full of authenticity, emotion, and innovation.

In 2019, founding members Philipp Spannring and Emanuel Hammertinger met and shared a bold vision:
to create a space where artists could be truly free —
a studio, a collective, a shelter.

Soon after, they were joined by like-minded creatives:
Patricia Kramm, Ruslan Mamedau, Noah Novak, and Julian Waitschacher —
and so, Sub Sinus officially emerged.

We’re not here to fit in.
